Clint Barton as Captain America

Hello everyone! This is the first image I've chosen to upload to DeviantArt, but certainly not the first I've ever made. During the Marvel event known as Fallen Son, Clint Barton was tested with the shield and mantle of Captain America. He used the shield properly, but refused the offer to become Captain America. Here's my visualization of what he'd look like if he did take the mantle.

Obviously Clint is his own man, even if he's to replace Steve. Let's face, he's never going in the winged-helmet, chest-scaled suit. And he shouldn't. That would be boring. All I did for this one was print out an Ultimate Hawkeye cover, trace, and digitally color online. Oh yeah, and I drew an A on his head. That's pretty much it. He might choose to keep the shield, but he's not abandoning the arrows either.

I initially drew this for a custom universe where he takes the mantle, and basically it becomes an Age of Ultron with Pym in charge. So, yes, he's also plucked for an event I'm doing that's called Cap-Verse (if you don't know, Spider-Verse but for Cap). So yes, that's about it. Enjoy!
