Well, the reprinting of the terms of submission conveniently stops short of section 5 "limitations" which states dA cannot re-sell or make commercial sale agreements with an artists materials without the artist's agreement first and reiterates that DA makes no claims of copyright ownership of the material. They CAN by the agreement use your art in advertisments that promote DA, whether of DA or as part of an agreement with google or similar, but they cannot sell your copyrighted work out from under you.
It's always important to read the whole agreement before flying off the handle. By publishing only the portions of the agreement that support their point of view, the blogger in question is actually passing along misinformation to the prospective consumer. Since tumblr is also a popular stream in which to display artwork, original, fan-based or otherwise, I have to wonder about the motivation behind this post.
